Matten How a band named 'Flittering' can be this goddamn heavy and unsettling, I don't know, but I dig it. In some ways quite atmospheric too.
I also appreciate the album cover, there's something about dense vegetation with a light pointed at it in the dark of night (which this seems to be if I'm correct) that invokes a certain inexplicable feeling of terror. Favorite track: Phenomenon Conspiracy.

𝖙𝖜𝖎𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖉𝖘𝖔𝖓𝖔𝖋𝖜𝖆𝖙𝖘𝖔𝖓 I’m uncomfortable with comparisons generally, so what I will say is that there’s a breed of death metal conjured by the likes of bands mentioned that Filtering are clearly aligned with in the manner of composition and production, it’s chaotic, it’s cavernous, it’s nightmarish and horrific, absolute and total death, just the way I like it, and I’m really glad I’ve been lead to them.

SkyPanda Fans of Portal should get on this, can't believe I have been sleeping. Excellent album! Favorite track: Hopeless Obscure.

The dissonant bleakness of the first track is less weird and more hypnotic than on the second track. That's why I like it a little more. But both songs together make for an extraordinary experience and a journey to the arhythmically beating heart of darkness. mourner
